Founded in 2003 by South Carolina native Robert Marye, Gentlemen Movers is a military-owned moving company built on doing things the right way — every move, every time.

We pay special attention to details like proper crew training so that every team member recognizes they are a guest in your home and must treat your possessions as if they belonged to a close family member. Every employee is background checked and drug tested. Robert has a personal relationship with each member of his team and takes pride in knowing who he employs.

Meet Robert Marye
Robert Marye is a South Carolina native who founded Gentlemen Movers in 2003 with a straightforward belief: moving is personal, and the people handling your home should treat it that way. His field-first mindset was shaped by years on trucks and inside customer homes.
Alongside General Manager Sam Stevens, Robert leads a team that has served Lexington and Columbia families and businesses for over two decades. This year, Gentlemen Movers was voted the Best Moving Company in Lexington, South Carolina.
